Te Ara o Puanga comprises of 41 units – including 29 furnished studios, eight one bedroom apartments and four two bedroom apartments. The four distinct blocks respect the surrounding context and contour, reducing in size as they descend the hill to the south. The apartments were built with sustainable materials whenever possible, and were prefabricated off site to reduce noise and inconvenience to patients, neighbours and staff.
