Luxury Living | The Merewyn

Application: Residential Product Range: Timberlook Sectional Door Finish: Flatline Sectional Door in Colorbond® Blushed Teak Location: Richmond, TAS The Merewyn by JOSCON is a home that embodies modern family living and effortless entertaining, designed specifically for acreage, corner, or wide blocks. JOSCON partnered with Steel-Line Garage Doors to achieve this vision, specifying the Steel-Line Flatline Sectional Door in Colorbond® Blush Teak. This choice was instrumental in tying the façade together delivering sleek, horizontal lines that mirror the home’s architectural profile while the timber-look finish adds a natural warmth that softens the exterior. The Flatline profile was selected for its modern aesthetic and minimalistic appeal, offering a clean look that doesn’t distract from the home’s design features. The Colorbond® Blush Teak finish provides a rich, earthy tone that complements the other materials used on the exterior, enhancing street appeal and creating a welcoming entry statement. The result is a show-stopping home that is as functional as it is beautiful. The garage door integrates seamlessly into the façade, contributing to The Merewyn’s award-worthy design. Its durability and low maintenance ensure it will retain its striking appearance for years to come, perfectly suiting a busy family lifestyle. This build has been recognised as a finalist in the Residential Design of the Year category at the 2025 HIA Housing Awards, affirming the success of the collaboration between JOSCON and Steel-Line in delivering a home that is both visually stunning and practical. The Merewyn proves that a garage door is more than just a functional element — it’s an integral part of the home’s overall design. The Steel-Line Flatline Sectional Door in Colorbond® Blush Teak provides the perfect finishing touch, elevating the façade and setting the tone for the stunning spaces within.
