Contemporary Renovation

A Textural Approach to Modern Design

The design concept was driven by materials and colour, with a palette that blends warm browns, ochres, and earthy greens grounded by rich walnut timbers and softened with layers of warm white. Every surface contributes to the home’s sense of calm sophistication — a celebration of natural texture and subtle contrast. The result is a home that feels curated, harmonious, and deeply personal, offering endless inspiration for designers who value both form and function.

Mouldings that Complement the Mood

To enhance the interiors’ organic flow, Intrim’s SK23 skirting and architrave profile was selected for its clean, curved design — perfectly suited to modern, mid-century, and coastal-inspired spaces. Its soft and subtle curves complement the apartment’s rounded architectural features and layered finishes, adding understated definition throughout.

A standout detail is the custom curved SK23 architrave in the ensuite, which showcases the versatility and craftsmanship of Intrim’s decorative timber mouldings. This detail not only adds visual interest but also demonstrates how thoughtful specification can elevate a project from ordinary to exceptional.

 Contemporary Comfort, Curated for Living

This renovation is more than a visual statement – it’s a blueprint for liveable luxury. Through considered interior design, furniture curation, and styling, the apartment achieves a balance of contemporary comfort and enduring style. For designers, it’s a reminder that great design is as much about how a space feels as how it looks.
