Northcote College Technology Block
EllisCo supplied TOPP C20 chain drives and WindowMaster Plus window controllers for this new technology block at Northcote College, Te Toka Tū Moana. The building comprises 37 specialist teaching spaces – notably including four commercial-grade kitchens and a restaurant – plus a library and learning support centre across two three- and four-storey wings linked by a full-height glazed central atrium.
TOPP C20 chain drives are installed in kitchen area and also in the atrium area. Actuators are controlled with WindowMaster WCC 320P1012 controllers that link to the BMS via BACNET Ethernet IP. Manual switches are also installed in each zone so occupants can control opening and closing of windows when required.
