Walpole is a project sited on a gently sloped site in Mount Martha. The brief was to create a single level family home, embracing the orientation and use of natural materials. The design response sought to create staggered gables to increase the solar aspect, with a central breezeway between the gable forms which acts as the transitional space between rooms of the home, which frame a feature landscaping pocket.
