Perched atop a steep cliff-like coastal site on Scarborough Hill, this modestly sized new home embraces the challenge of building on the hill to achieve a relaxing low maintenance home that is adaptable to suit its exposed position in an extreme environment.
Private spaces are cut into the hillside to provide refuge from the elements, over which the first floor living spaces are cantilevered out over the steeply falling land below to capture sweeping views of the Coastline and prospect the surf below.
