Scotchman’s View Farmhouse is a contemporary take on rural living, situated in Victoria’s Bellarine Peninsula. What initially began as a renovation dream evolved into a thoughtfully designed home demonstrating true craftsmanship and Australian-made materials.

Challenged by a poorly positioned original structure, termite damage, and the need to protect a 100-year-old magnolia tree, this project required a bold reimagining. The solution was a strategic relocation to the property’s centre, maximising exposure to the northern light while protecting occupants from strong south-westerly winds.

Designed for multi-generational living, the home strikes a balance between privacy and connection. The eastern wing offers a parents’ retreat while the central living area draws the family together. The living space is bathed in natural light and features breathtaking views thanks to the Series 704FBR SlideMASTER™ Sliding Door.
