A meticulously designed garden inspired by formal Neo-Georgian architecture, featuring expansive lawns, hedges, and rose gardens, enhanced by elements reminiscent of the Hamptons, including engineered retaining walls, waterfall ponds, and decorative pots from America.
The formal Neo-Georgian architecture of this home was the reference for the garden design. Large lawns, hedges and rose gardens with formal box hedges and topiary are typical for this type of home. The clients had travelled extensively and had loved gardens of the Hamptons on the East Coast of America and had very strong visions to recreate what they had seen there. The beautiful pots were brought back from America to further enhance the idea. The lower lawns were created with extensively engineered retaining walls which, along with the waterfall ponds and fountains, made this a very technical garden.
