Our restoration of this quaint English country-style brick church has retained the charm and intimacy of the original structure.
This quaint English country-style brick church was damaged and weakened in a 2007 earthquake and was subsequently strengthened and restored.
New buttresses, sub-floor ties, a diaphragm ceiling, steel ridge-tie and access provisions for people with disabilities have all been discreetly provided, ensure that the community has a future-proofed church.
The charm and intimacy of the original structure has been retained, with the interior timbers having been re-polished and re-lit and original features preserved.
The church is now equipped with an arsenal of new defences and is well placed to serve the Hexton community well into the future.
