Imbued with a sense of belonging and permanence, the design ethos of this small but finely detailed retreat has been inspired by the traditional stone farm shed that has always been. Enveloped within its natural setting, where the years have passed and nature has accepted the building as its own. This calm and traditional approach is furthered into the buildings interior where internal joinery and wall finishes blur with the outside world of natural tussock grasses and schist outcrops.
