Terrace Downs

Welcome to Terrace Downs, the stunning holiday home in the picturesque setting of Terrace Downs Golf Resort. Built for two doctors with a keen eye for detail, this collaboration with Cymon Allfrey Architects has resulted in a truly remarkable home that reflects the majestic Mt Hutt range behind it. Keep an eye out for the unique scree slope over the front door - a subtle yet distinctive feature that adds character to this already impressive abode.  This technically demanding project presented its fair share of challenges, with multiple levels and a complex steel portal structure that required meticulous planning and execution. From the carefully crafted roof to the intricate spouting detailing, every aspect of this home has been thoughtfully considered. Inside, the kitchen boasts blued metal accents, hoop pine ply ceilings, and wall-tiled bathrooms, all tied together with a bespoke steel staircase that adds a touch of industrial chic.  Constructed over nearly two years, this home is not just a building, but a labor of love. Designed to withstand snow loading, high winds, and its proximity to the southern fault, Terrace Downs offers a welcome escape for busy individuals looking to unwind in style. So come on in, make yourself at home, and experience the epitome of luxury living in the heart of nature.
