This family had built previously with another company and really craved quality finishes. They had no huge wish list, instead they just knew what they wanted when they saw it. The huge kitchen that has an island spanning 4.7 meters is the absolute hub of the home and hand crafted from an old school joiner. The rear bench has down lights and of course room for the manly fridge. As the focal point, tucking the scullery into the end means that anyone can easily settle into the large open family space that can be enjoyed with gas fire blazing and surround sound.
The bathrooms were fully tiled so that they were spacious, nice to look at and easy to clean, and that LED edged mirror was exactly what the client was after. Touch screen on the mirror dials up either a warm or cool light for makeup and is what females dream of having in their bathrooms. Carpet throughout the living, dining, nook, hallway and bedroom with spacious wardrobes and linen cupboards are all part of getting the scale of each area right to be workable, just the same as the all-important media cupboard. The addition feature walls in the bedrooms helped to make each room its own, and one an office. Home really is where the heart is.
