The Plateau Project

Owned by fashion photographer Georges Antoni, this project epitomizes the fusion of functionality and aesthetics, showcasing a harmonious blend of natural elements and contemporary design principles.

From the vision of creating a home that grows with the family to the meticulous selection of materials, every aspect of the Plateau Project reflects a commitment to crafting a space that is both inviting and enduring.

Georges Antoni, the homeowner, shared his vision for the renovation. "The fundamental goal for our renovation was just to build a home that our family could grow in." With three young children under the age of five, the primary focus was on creating a safe and comfortable environment that could evolve alongside their family's needs.

Selecting DecoBatten® for the garage door - When it came to selecting a product for the garage door, Antoni explains, "We wanted to make sure from an aesthetic standpoint that we used wood because everything in the house had a very natural basis." However, due to fire safety regulations, they needed a non-combustible alternative.

DecoBatten® provided the perfect solution, offering the desired wood look without compromising safety. The colour choice seamlessly blended with the natural elements surrounding the home, creating a cohesive aesthetic.

Final thoughts on DecoBatten® - Antoni expresses his delight with the final product: "We absolutely love the final door design that we got for our garage door." The use of DecoBatten allowed them to achieve their desired aesthetic while meeting safety requirements. "It ticked all the boxes for us," he adds, highlighting the satisfaction with their beautiful garage door.

In summary, the integration of DecoBatten® into the garage door design not only enhanced the aesthetic appeal of the home but also provided a practical solution that aligned with the family's vision for their ideal living space.
