Located in a thriving commercial and residential precinct on Auckland’s waterfront, a corporate office is refurbished with a focus to create a contemporary, vibrant workspace.

UBC was tasked to upgrade the existing office space occupied by UPC, with the objective of modernising the office space to reflect the strength of the business’s past as well as its future-focused strategy.

Comprehensive communication, problem-solving and planning resulted in the rearrangement of interior office spaces. Existing oak and glass panels were refinished to match the refurbished American oak flooring, and reinstalled to create new and improved flow, working and meeting spaces.

In order to better utilise a smaller space, a kitchen was the design and constructed, creating ease and efficiency during client functions and meetings.

Construction and alteration work was completed with a complete repaint, new lighting, cabinetry floor and wall coverings, and an upgrade of fire-rated sections to comply with council regulations.

Full Project Management ensured that administration, cost control and reporting was well managed. As a result, all client expectations were met and exceeded – delivering a vibrant workspace on a tight time-frame and to budget.
