Urban Jungle
This enclosed area at the rear of a terrace house, in the heart of the Sydney CBD, demonstrates that no matter how limited the space, there is always the possibility for transformation. To increase the sense of space we used large sandstone slabs. Glossy soft-white handmade tiles on the rear wall help bounce light around and contrast with foliage. We layered greenery at different levels to create a magical space that feels tucked into a clearing in the rainforest.
