Offering unique solutions for customers as an interior designer, builder or furniture maker is vital to ensure the needs for every project can be met – from custom upholstery to bespoke lighting, and even custom cabinetry.

“How can a manufacturer create that versatility and at the same time keep production simple and efficient?” says Kate Kapitonova, Blum marketing manager. “This was a key question that guided us for the development of our new product, MERIVOBOX.”

A real platform: MERIVOBOX makes it easy for furniture manufacturers to offer variety.

A multitude of creative ideas with a single box system

Created to offer custom storage options – as every square metre counts in the modern New Zealand home – the concept that inspired MERIVOBOX enables drawers and pull-outs to be designed in a variety of ways where the manufacturing and assembly process stay the same, no matter the configuration.

“Both designers and cabinet makers can now offer drawers to customers that meet every demand. At the heart of the MERIVOBOX platform is the cabinet profile with just one fixing position (height and depth) for the entire range,” says Kate. “Closed drawer sides, gallery, or a continuous metal side design - the cabinet is always drilled and assembled in the same way and the manufacturer can then decide which solution to install or implement changes if the customer changes their mind. With MERIVOBOX, the design process is simple, and the manufacturing is efficient.

The MERIVOBOX range has a simple and easily accessible three-dimensional adjustment so that gaps can be aligned in just a few simple steps. Additionally, the whole range can be fitted with motion technologies − such as BLUMOTION, SERVO-DRIVE or TIP-ON BLUMOTION − with no difference in the manufacturing process.

MERIVOBOX looks good in every home environment, from the kitchen to the bathroom.

Sophisticated, minimalist design

With more and more homeowners wanting to keep their interiors simple with minimalist styling, the sleek lines of MERIVOBOX enable it to fit seamlessly in any contemporary space.

Blum’s latest drawer comes in different colours, sides and fronts designs, giving you a wide choice of models from entry-level to premium. “With MERIVOBOX, the choice is yours,” says Kate. “With their top-quality look and impressive functionality, MERIVOBOX drawers are ideal for any living area. Be it in the kitchen, bathroom, office or bedroom, Blum hardware will amplify your design.”

MERIVOBOX boasts straight lines and a striking look.
The innovative L-shape of the MERIVOBOX runner ensures advanced stability and a high capacity of up to 70kg.

In New Zealand, the award-winning Blum design is available in a range of colours, including silk white and orion grey.

“Offering variety has never been so easy. This platform makes it incredibly simple to manufacture and assemble drawers to meet every demand - with maximum functionality and stunning design.

“MERIVOBOX makes your ideas and those of your customers happen.”
