Heritage Carpets introduces ntgrate® to New Zealand, a woven flooring system combining tactile surfaces, considered palettes and bio-based, mineral and recycled content.
The relationship between flooring and interior design is shifting. Once considered primarily for durability and practicality, flooring is increasingly being approached as a defining layer of a space, contributing texture, pattern and material depth alongside performance requirements.
Heritage Carpets brings ntgrate® to New Zealand, a woven vinyl flooring system that explores the relationship between texture, pattern and performance. The collection offers a broad palette of colours and woven patterns designed for both residential and commercial environments.
Unlike conventional flooring surfaces, ntgrate® uses a woven construction to create depth and tactility underfoot, while maintaining the durability required for high-use spaces. The result is a surface that sits somewhere between textile and hardwearing flooring, allowing designers to introduce warmth and visual interest without compromising practicality.
ntgrate® Woven Eco Vinyl Flooring
The collection reflects a wider movement towards materials that balance aesthetic considerations with more informed specification. With a high proportion of bio-based, mineral and recycled content, ntgrate® provides an alternative for projects where environmental considerations, longevity and design intent need to work together. For Heritage Carpets, bringing the collection to New Zealand also supports its aim of making more environmentally considered flooring options easier for architects and designers to specify.
For residential interiors, the range offers a way to introduce subtle texture and pattern into living spaces. Within commercial settings, its durability and adaptability make it suited to environments where surfaces need to withstand daily use while contributing to the overall experience of a space.
Beyond traditional flooring applications, ntgrate® is also available through Heritage Carpets as custom and standard rugs through the WOOP+ntgrate® collection. This extends the material beyond the floor plane, allowing designers to create defined areas within larger interiors through colour, texture and pattern.

Versatile shaped woven eco-vinyl tiles by ntgrate®
The collection also extends into more expressive applications through Versatile shaped tiles, made with ntgrate®. Available in a range of shapes, the tiles allow designers to explore the woven material through different configurations, bringing greater variation to colour, pattern and the overall composition of the floor.
For New Zealand projects, local representation through Heritage Carpets and selected stock held in Singapore provide a practical advantage, with some products available in around six weeks rather than the typical 12–14 weeks for the broader collection. This gives architects and designers greater flexibility when specifying a more considered flooring option within tighter project programmes.
As flooring continues to become a more deliberate part of interior design, ntgrate® offers another way to approach the surface beneath our feet: not simply as a practical requirement, but as an opportunity for material expression.
