About Schweigen

Headquartered in Melbourne, Schweigen is Australia’s leader in silent, powerful and energy-efficient ventilation - pioneering offboard Silent Rangehoods that have revolutionized the Australian market since 2008.

Schweigen Silent Rangehoods are made in Europe and uniquely powered by German-made Isodrive® motor systems - recognised as the quietest, most energy-efficient and highest-powered domestic extraction unit available today. These motors pull steam, smoke and odours to the outside, rather than pushing like conventional rangehoods. They are mounted outside of homes through the roof or wall to ensure blissfully quiet air extraction indoors.

Only Schweigen Silent Rangehoods are powered by BAL-40 Isodrive® motors certified by the CSIRO for use in bushfire zones, and come with free Schweigen SteelFlex™ high performance safety ducting for unbeatable value, safety and performance. Winner of the International Good Design Award for Outstanding Product Design & Innovation, Schweigen’s extensive catalogue is locally supported, and available from more than 1,000 leading retailers and stockists throughout Australia and New Zealand.
