Kitchen hardware has shifted noticeably in recent years. Where chrome and polished finishes once dominated, softer metallic tones are increasingly being used to bring warmth, depth and a more resolved material palette to the room.

Zenith Water is responding to that shift with an expanded HydroTap colour range, introducing Brushed Bronze to its residential collection while extending Brushed Brass and Brushed Gunmetal across more of the range.

Brushed Bronze is the newest addition, offering a warmer tone designed to sit comfortably within both contemporary and more classic interiors. Its softer finish reflects the broader move towards natural, enduring schemes where colour is used to complement surrounding materials rather than compete with them.

Brushed Brass and Brushed Gunmetal were first introduced with the Celsius Plus range in 2025. Following sustained demand, both finishes are now available more broadly across the HydroTap collection, giving designers and homeowners greater flexibility when coordinating tapware with cabinetry, hardware and other fittings.

“At Zenith Water, staying ahead of the trends is what we see as a core component of our ongoing success,” says Ben Slocombe, Marketing and Innovation Director at Zenith Water. “That is why we have expanded our colour range to include warmer brushed tones such as Brushed Bronze, complemented by the continued availability of Brushed Brass and Brushed Gunmetal.”

For specifiers, the significance is less about a single new colour and more about having a broader palette to work with. As kitchens continue to be designed as cohesive material environments, small details such as tapware finishes can have an outsized influence on how the overall scheme comes together.

The expanded HydroTap range gives designers more scope to carry brushed finishes consistently through a space, while retaining the performance and functionality already associated with the system.
