Access Complient Cavity Sliding Doors

At Triline, we want to make it as easy as possible for those who are limited in their movement and have developed a cavity slider system that reduces some of the typical swinging door barriers presented to disabled people, thereby making buildings and dwellings more independently accessible or ‘inclusive’.

A manual swinging door can be a significant barrier for users that have, for example, poor grip, reduced muscle power, or balance. Getting close enough to or reaching for the handle can be difficult. This is made harder if the hands are needed to hold a cane or crutches, move a wheelchair or frame. Other factors increasing the degree of difficulty include door closers, small lobbies, narrow corridors, and small clear-opening widths.

About the
Seller

Our passion towards our customers reflects the ethos of our family-owned and operated business; we support each other and our clients with honesty and respect. This is our point of difference. We don’t just aim to be one of the leaders in cavity doors, we aim to be one of the best in service, too. That’s why our customers continue to work with us and speak so highly of our products and staff.

The idea for Triline Quality Door Systems was born in 1996 when founder and home builder, Stuart Colledge, noticed that there was no easy way to obtain pocket sliding doors in Tasmania. After a few years of extensive product research, design and development, Triline launched its first cavity sliders in a leading hardware store in Hobart. Over the next eight years our output increased steadily and by 2004 we outgrew our facilities. 2005 saw us expand to a larger premises and, as a result, we have significantly increased our production output.

With more space and the passion to go further, we overhauled and re-designed our cavity pocket system. After much refinement and consultation with our customers, the Phoenix™ cavity slider was formed. We continue to grow and improve our product range to give our customers more options and avenues for creative exploration in internal sliding doors. We also seek ways to better construct our cavity sliding doors to ensure our customers have the latest in architectural design and material performance.
