Accoya® is the world leading high-technology wood. It is produced from a non-toxic cellular modification process known as acetylation. The softwood used in this process is Radiata Pine sourced from sustainably managed forests in New Zealand. The result is a durable, stable and non-toxic material with performance characteristics better than any hardwood. Accoya holds industry-leading environmental credentials. The exceptional durability of Accoya is warranted for a minimum life of 50 years above ground and 25 years in the ground.

Accoya wood is perfect for many outdoor and indoor applications such as cladding, decking, panelling, timber fins, fences and joinery.

Board lengths range from 1.8m to 4.8m

Treatability

Accoya wood is already Class 1 durable (comparable to or better than the durability of hardwoods such as Jarrah, Rosewood and Teak) so no further treatments are needed. Plus Accoya wood is non-toxic and doesn't leech harmful chemicals.

Uses

Limitless! The acetylation process makes pine super durable, super stable and retains all the strength of pine. This makes it an excellent choice for any situation that is starting to push the boundaries of other timbers.

About the
Seller

ITI NZ, formerly known as ITI Timspec, began as Timspec, a specialist timber wholesaler committed to providing quality timber products with reliable service, value, visuals and versatility. In March 2019, Timspec Ltd was acquired by ITI NZ Ltd, becoming ITI Timspec, before later rebranding to ITI NZ Ltd.

As part of the wider ITI Group, ITI NZ continues to grow its product range and service offering across New Zealand. The acquisitions of Rosenfeld Kidson and Hermpac have further strengthened the business by adding respected industry knowledge, trusted timber brands and a wider range of premium timber solutions.

These acquisitions have also helped expand our offering across cladding, cedar products, flashings, external corners and related timber accessories, allowing us to support architects, builders and merchants with a more complete solution.

ITI NZ sources timber from trusted mills and suppliers around the world and works hard to provide quality products, reliable service and strong relationships across the building industry.
