Altec Aluminium Flushmount Garage Door

The Altec Flushmount Garage Door by Prestige Garage Doors brings together clean flat-panel styling, seamless façade integration and a lightweight design. Made to blend into the surrounding architecture, it creates a cohesive exterior that lets your home’s design take centre stage.

A prominent garage door can interrupt an otherwise carefully considered façade. Altec’s flushmount design addresses this by aligning the door with the surrounding finish, while matching fixed panels extend the look beyond the opening for a unified appearance.

Each door is custom-made through a consultative process, with careful attention to detailing and coordination with your project team. Its construction is naturally lighter than many alternative flushmount garage doors, making it a practical choice for achieving a refined, integrated finish.

Finished in powdercoat backed by a 15-year powdercoat warranty, the Altec Flushmount Garage Door offers lasting confidence alongside understated architectural appeal.

Scope of use

The Altec Flushmount Garage Door is suitable for residential and commercial projects where a clean, integrated façade is desired. Its flat-panel design works particularly well with contemporary architecture, with matching dummy panels available to carry the finish across surrounding areas.

Widely used in new builds, the door is best incorporated early in the design process so the opening, surrounding cladding and flushmount detailing can be coordinated. It can also be retrofitted into existing buildings, subject to an assessment of the opening, available clearances and façade construction.

Altec is also well suited to coastal properties, with the powdercoat specification selected to suit the location and exposure. Regular cleaning and maintenance are required to preserve the finish and meet the applicable warranty conditions.

At Prestige, we specialise in architecturally designed garage doors and are able to use a variety of styles and materials to achieve the integrated look that you want.

Founded in 1992, Prestige Garage Doors began as a home based, family owned retailer of garage doors. We found that more architects wanted higher quality garage doors to wow their clients. We believed that we were up for that challenge, and homeowners loved what we could do. Which is why we are now the leader in consulting, designing, manufacturing, and installing custom made garage doors.
