Acoustic wall panels that actually look good. FOLD PET felt acoustic panels combine serious sound absorption (NRC 0.70+) with the same folded profiles and hidden cleat mounting as our timber system — but built from 12mm recycled PET felt instead of wood.

Each panel is custom-cut to your wall dimensions from Autex Cube material, made from over 80% recycled PET bottles. No finishing required — the felt arrives ready to install straight from the box.

Design Your Wall Request a sample → Why PET felt over foam?

Foam acoustic panels deteriorate, compress over time, and collect dust. PET felt maintains its acoustic performance and shape indefinitely, won't harbour allergens, and can be vacuumed clean. It's also fully recyclable at end of life. The textile surface looks and feels like a premium interior finish — not a studio treatment bolted to the wall.

Three Panel Profiles

  • Plain — Flat acoustic panels for a clean, minimal wall surface.
  • Peak — A single centre fold that adds depth and visual movement while increasing surface area for better sound absorption.
  • Ridge — An angled fold that creates architectural depth and stronger shadow lines across the wall.

All three profiles can be mixed on the same wall, or used consistently for a uniform look.

Colours & Material

All panels use Autex Cube — a 12mm PET felt made from over 80% recycled post-consumer PET bottles. Choose from five colours:

  • Black — Bold, high-contrast
  • Charcoal — Warm, sophisticated depth
  • Grey — Versatile neutral
  • Silver — Lighter, modern tone
  • White — Clean, bright spaces

The felt surface has a consistent textile texture with no visible joins or seams within each panel. Colours can be mixed across a wall for pattern or contrast.

Acoustic Performance

  • Sound Absorption: NRC 0.70+ (12mm material)
  • Frequency Range: Effective across speech frequencies (250Hz–4000Hz)
  • Air Gap Benefit: The hidden cleat system naturally creates a 25–50mm air gap behind the panels, which improves low-frequency absorption without any extra work

For spaces where acoustic control is critical — open-plan offices, restaurants, classrooms, meeting rooms — these panels make a measurable difference to speech clarity and ambient noise levels.

Custom Sizing

Every order is cut to your wall. No standard sizes to work around.

  • Panel Width: 100–520mm
  • Panel Height: Up to 3050mm
  • End Caps: Matching panels to cover exposed edges at corners and wall ends
  • Skirting Notches: Panels can be notched to sit over existing skirting boards

Use our online configurator to enter your wall dimensions and see exactly how many panels you need and what they'll cost.

Installation

FOLD acoustic panels use the same hidden aluminium cleat system as our timber panels — no visible screws or fixings on the face.

  1. Fix cleats to your wall — Aluminium cleats are screwed horizontally to the wall at set spacings (cleats and fixings included with every order)
  2. Hang panels — Each panel hooks onto the cleats from above and locks into place
  3. Fit end caps — Cover exposed edges at corners, windows, or wall ends

No finishing or painting required. Panels arrive ready to hang. Most walls can be completed in a few hours with a drill, level, and tape measure.
