HB1480 Series for Sliding Doors – 310mm – 55mm Backset

Halliday + Baillie

The HB 1480 Offset Pull Door series has been developed primarily for use on large doors where scale is required, or the doors are particularly heavy. These sets can function on oversized sliding doors for extra purchase, or on bifold doors.

With the extra deep one side grip, the sets can be used on sliding doors and also function for bi-fold, pivots, and swing doors (See HB1480 D series) and come as left or right handed, with various functions including a privacy option.

All sets include the HB1475 310mm long Flush Pulls.

Scope of use

    • Suitable due to scale for oversized or heavy doors, or for pivot/bi-fold/swing doors when a large architectural pull is required.
    • Compatible with both timber and large-profile aluminium doors, provided the door thickness is a minimum 45 mm, and the hardware is correctly installed and recessed.
    • Provides a coordinated hardware solution (flush pulls + lock body/backset) for premium finish and design continuity in higher-end residential or commercial fit-out projects.
Features

Available as a Privacy Set, and various snib only configurations.

For finish options please see our current Finishes Sheet. Please check with your local Halliday + Baillie representative as not all finishes are available in all regions.

Flush pulls are designed to be mounted with the body within the thickness of the door, and the face surface mounted – total projection is 2mm. Fully recessed mounting is possible on timber doors with the appropriate door thickness. Using glue, epoxy or silicone products etc to secure flush pulls to the door is not required or recommended for installation, and may void warrantee. Glue, epoxy, or silicone products can be used to secure the spindle bat to the back of the snib flush pull for example where sets have a flush pull to one side only.

Handles may be turned or touched a thousand times a day, so aesthetics, materials and finishes have been a top priority right from the origins of the company.

Our range includes sliding & pivot door hardware (including a full range of flush pulls, end pulls, pull handles, flush bolts, locking and privacy sets), stair rail brackets, door stops, drawer and blind extrusions and wet area vents.

Halliday + Baillie has been in business for 30 years, and manufacturing and exporting hardware worldwide for well over 25 years. The Halliday + Baillie range of products are proudly produced in New Zealand & Australia where lower volumes enable careful monitoring with a correspondingly high production quality.

Along with our own products, Halliday + Baillie are also the exclusive suppliers in New Zealand and Australia for both the famous German FSB range of architectural door hardware and stocking the first, and original TECTUS concealed hinges by Simonswerk.

We expanded H+B into Australia in 2003 with main hub in Sydney and more recently a display studio in Melbourne. We have suppliers around Australia who help Halliday + Baillie designs be available throughout Australia.
