Control Options
Our honeycomb blinds are available with a range of control options to suit different spaces and preferences.

Cord Control
A traditional and familiar option. The blind is raised or lowered by pulling a cord, which locks into place when angled. The cord can be positioned on either side and includes safety cleats to keep cords tidy and out of reach.

Clutch Control
This system uses a continuous loop cord, making operation smooth and effortless. It’s a great choice for wide or tall windows.

Cordless
A clean, modern look with no visible cords. The blind is operated manually using a discreet handle on the bottom rail. It’s simple to use and offers enhanced safety for homes with children or pets.

Motorised
Perfect for hard-to-reach windows or smart homes. Our motorised blinds are operated via remote, offering easy, hands-free control.

Skylight Cordless
Designed for angled or overhead windows. Operated manually with a handle or pole, this system keeps the fabric taut using tension cords.

Configuration Options
Standard

The blind raises from the bottom and stacks neatly at the top. A simple and effective solution for everyday use.

Top Down Bottom Up
This flexible option allows the blind to be lowered from the top or raised from the bottom. It’s ideal for maintaining privacy while still letting in natural light.

Day/Night
Combines two fabrics in one blind, a light filter and a blockout. Slide between the two to switch from soft light filtering during the day to full privacy at night.

Shade Elements is New Zealand-owned and operated. That’s important, because it means we understand what conditions are like in this beautiful country. Strong sun and UV can give way to wind and rain without warning, so it’s vital to have well-designed shading systems that can cope with whatever nature throws at them.

Our screens, awnings and pergolas are assembled in our own factory, in Auckland’s Penrose. We source world-leading products from around the globe to bring you the best in contemporary design.

We’re all about creating versatile spaces for outdoor living – just the way Kiwis like it. We work with architects, designers and a network of quality fabricators and installers who deal direct with private homeowners and commercial operators, such as cafés and restaurants, to add value to their buildings and help craft stunning living spaces.
