Motorized Blinds

Motorized blinds can be opened and closed simply by touching a button, a remote control, or an app on a smartphone. Window coverings are a proven way to reduce solar gain and prevent heat loss, and if they are this easy to open and close, it's much more likely you'll remember to do so to benefit you and your environment. Additionally, the ability to set schedules to open and close them at specific times means you may never have to worry about them at all.

Linked Roller Blind

The Linked Roller Blind bracketing system is perfect for bi-fold and sliding doors and wide span windows, allowing multiple blinds to be linked together. blinds go up and down at the same time then link them together and just use the one motor. Linking your blinds can also reduce the gap between the fabric, this happens as there is only 1 intermediate bracket rather than 2 individual brackets back to back.

Double Blinds

Double blinds, also known as dual roller blinds or Day/night blinds, use a two-layer arrangement to cover all your window screening needs. From sunscreens blinds for the day and block out blinds for the night. Choose from any of the Shade Elements roller blind fabric ranges to get the right combination for your home.

About the

Shade Elements is New Zealand-owned and operated. That’s important, because it means we understand what conditions are like in this beautiful country. Strong sun and UV can give way to wind and rain without warning, so it’s vital to have well-designed shading systems that can cope with whatever nature throws at them.

Our screens, awnings and pergolas are assembled in our own factory, in Auckland’s Penrose. We source world-leading products from around the globe to bring you the best in contemporary design.

We’re all about creating versatile spaces for outdoor living – just the way Kiwis like it. We work with architects, designers and a network of quality fabricators and installers who deal direct with private homeowners and commercial operators, such as cafés and restaurants, to add value to their buildings and help craft stunning living spaces.
