The Hyperglide™ High Speed Door you are about to look at has a number of features brought about by a simple idea – to increase the performance of both the speed and wind resistance of the door. This was achieved through the development of the AirStrip™ – an innovative and effective design feature that has transformed the standard door design to one with key advantages.
Faster
The Hyperglide™ High Speed door will operate at speeds of up to 3.0m/sec on doors up to 4.0m wide and 4.0m high and 2.0m/sec on doors up to 6.0m wide x 6.0m high. The new AirStrip™ design enables the door to operate at these speeds without wear on the door blade.
Quieter
The AirStrip™ was designed to combine high speed with quiet and smooth operation. Constructed from a flexible rubber strip, the Airstrip dampens noise and creates a cushioning effect when the door runs at high speeds.
Cleaner
The AirStrip™ feature on the Hyperglide™ separates the layers of the door blade to ensure that the PVC has minimal contact with itself. This will ensure that dirt is not infused into the PVC, protecting the vision panels and preventing surface damage over many thousands of cycles.
Stronger
Many door designs over 4.0m wide struggle to perform in high winds. This is often a result of the track retention systems being under excessive load, or the rigidity of the door blade is not up to the task. The Hyperglide™ AirStrip™ design enables the wind bar system to be greatly strengthened to handle higher wind class up to 6.0m wide x 6.0m high. Increasing the integrity of the wind bars has no impact on the speed or the smoothness of the door operation.
With over 20 years of experience in the high performance door industry, some of Australia and New Zealand’s industry experts have come together to establish AUTO MOSSA, an organisation with a passion for design that continuously strives for innovation.
We pride ourselves on pushing the boundaries when developing ideas and through the process of exploration we often find new ways of doing things. It is our intention that every product we launch to the market will also come with an ‘international patent pending’, further emphasising our drive for innovation and added customer value. We are also able to work with architects and specifiers early on in the design stage, to develop working models and concepts.
