It arrives as a hedge

Each Living Walls™ hedge unit has already spent years being grown, clipped and shaped at our nursery before it reaches your project.

An exposed corner site

BEFORE – The house was complete, but the exposed corner boundary was not. Living Walls™ instant hedges arrived fully formed in one-metre lengths, ready to install.

AFTER – Placed together, the Living Walls™ instant hedge units created a continuous hedge from day one, providing immediate privacy and softening the building’s street frontage.

Once the lengths are installed together, the completed hedge provides:

immediate green structure
a consistent, continuous boundary
privacy or separation where required
an established look without waiting for small plants to fill out

You can maintain the hedge at its installed height or allowed to grow taller over time.

A boundary from day one

BEFORE – Living Walls™ hedge lengths placed beside the prepared trench, ready to create an immediate boundary around the exposed corner site.

AFTER – The newly installed hedge creates an immediate green boundary around the corner site.

From open space to installed boundary hedge

Living Walls™ instant hedges arrive ready for a landscaper, builder or capable planting team to install.

A defined street frontage

DELIVERY – Living Walls™ hedge lengths positioned beside the prepared street boundary, ready to create the hedge shown in the landscape design.

INSTALLATION – The one-metre instant hedge lengths are installed together to form a continuous hedge.

AFTER – The completed hedge gives the property green structure and a defined street boundary.

An established new build

BEFORE – The completed new build had an open, unfinished street frontage.

AFTER – A Living Walls™ instant hedge defines the frontage and gives the property an established street presence.

A trench is prepared, the bag is removed from each one-metre hedge length, and the units are placed together in the trench. The trench is then backfilled and the hedge watered in, forming one continuous hedge as soon as installation is complete.

A safer gully edge

BEFORE – An exposed gully edge required a safer, more clearly defined boundary.

AFTER – The continuous hedge creates a safer boundary for children and pets while preserving the rural outlook.

Living Boundary™ hedges are suited to mid-height definition and separation. Where greater height or screening is required, the Living Screen™ range provides a taller option.

A private courtyard

BEFORE – The internal courtyard was exposed to direct views from the neighbouring property.

AFTER – A Living Walls™ instant hedge creates a continuous green boundary and immediate privacy for the internal courtyard.
