The NL12 by DCW éditions is a linear pendant lamp designed by Sebastian Summa, composed of twelve glass tubes suspended from a pair of black gallows-like brackets. Only one tube is the actual light source; the remaining eleven relay and diffuse its light by refraction and prism, creating a luminous beam with no visible wires, no visible LEDs, and no visible aluminium structure. The result is a lamp that reads as both radical and poetic, evoking a celestial beam above a dining table. The twelve glass tubes are not fixed in position and can be slid and offset along the beam to create varied compositions, or aligned perfectly for a clean, uniform line. Please note this lamp is not dimmable.
