Compliance: Installed in accordance with the NZ Building Code (E2/AS1 and relevant performance clauses) and the MRM Code of Practice for Metal Cladding.

  • Substrate & Cavity: Installed over a drained and ventilated cavity system, with cavity battens at maximum 600mm centres to ensure compliance with NZBC E2 External Moisture requirements.
  • Fixing & Detailing: All fixings, flashings, penetrations, and terminations designed and installed in line with MRM Code of Practice to maintain weather-tightness and ventilation.
  • Material Selection: PureClad™ is available in a range of pre-painted and natural metal finishes. Materials are selected to suit all New Zealand environmental zones, including severe coastal and geothermal conditions, ensuring durability and long-term performance.
  • Durability: Meets NZBC B2 Durability requirements, with serviceable life expectations aligned with substrate and coating warranties.
  • Ventilation & Drainage: Cavity design provides airflow and drainage paths behind the cladding, preventing moisture build-up and ensuring compliance with NZBC E2/AS1 principles.
