QAHV CO2 Hot Water Heat Pump for Commercial Applications

As a leading manufacturer of air-to-water heat pumps, Mitsubishi Electric have developed QAHV; the latest innovation in their comprehensive line-up of Hot Water Heat Pump products.

Utilising CO₂ as an environmentally friendly, safe and natural refrigerant with zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and a Global Warming Potential (GWP) of just 1, the QAHV Hot Water Heat Pump is the green, highly reliable and future-proofed alternative to traditional boiler systems for potable hot water.

Specifically designed to produce high temperature potable hot water up to 90°C, the large 40kW capacity QAHV CO₂ Hot Water Heat Pump can be grouped with up to 15 more units to form 640kW of high temperature water production. Making it an ideal solution for commercial and industrial projects where hot water demand is high such as; gyms, hotels, motels, aged care facilities and hospitals.

Due to Mitsubishi Electric's unique technology, the QAHV ensures highly reliable performance as well as high heating capacity even at low outdoor temperatures.

With the future availability of natural gas clouded in uncertainty and the potential risk to occupants if a leak occurs, the QAHV Hot Water Heat Pump offers a safe, low-carbon alternative to gas water heating with higher efficiencies and compact dimensions to minimise plant space.
