FAKRO offer four internal style finishes with an elegant handle at the bottom for ease of operation. Centre pivot roof windows can be made in natural pine, white acrylic, white polyurethane and white UPVC finishes. All of these roof windows are manufactured with a V40P air inlet which by automatic adjustment of the flow channel size provides an optimum amount of air into the room.

Scope of use

Features such as an automatic air inlet that provides the optimum level of fresh air and the pioneering topSafe® system which greatly increases the standard of burglary resistance have revolutionised the roof window market. While the use of environmentally sustainable technologies has enabled FAKRO to create some of the most thermally-efficient roof windows available.

  • Manufactured in pine, vacuum impregnated and coated with acrylic lacquer.
  • Convenient way to use the window as the handle is located at the bottom of the sash. The handle is equipped with a two step micro-opening facilty.
  • Easy cleaning of the outer pane and operating the awning blind with the use of blocking sash bolt when rotated through 180 degrees.
  • A wide range of accessories which include both internal and external blinds. This window also has the ability to install electrical controls.
  • Centre pivot windows come with a V40P automatic air inlet.
  • Installation in roof pitches from 15 to 90 degrees.

Frame Protection System, FPS® Weathertight® system is a comprehensive roof and wall underlay system for timber and steel frame, panel and prefab building elements, providing both interim and permanent weather protection and moisture vapour control within the wall or roof structure.

FPS® Weathertight® is CodeMark certified to allow internal work to proceed to completion before the roof and wall claddings are installed.

In early 2011, Gwyn Williamson and Grant Murray, began sourcing underlays, tapes and fixing components for suitability to the NZ climate, local building methods and building performance. Frame Protection System Limited (FPS) was created in 2014 to bring their innovative, fully tested and CodeMark certified "system" to the building industry. Both Gwyn and Grant are proud that FPS® Weathertight® was the very first CodeMarked range of flexible underlay's in NZ to allow internal finishing work to proceed to completion before wall and/or roof claddings are fitted.  

Not only was it the first weathertight flexible underlay system, but because it went through 2 years of testing before being released, it has remained unchanged and still performs to a high standard today, ensuring nobody is going to be a guinea pig.
