Situated in a commanding position on the hill in Remuera this property was subject to strict heritage planning control so was a few years in the design until we could make a start on its transformation.

This renovation has it all! A large extension to the rear is the new heart of the home with plenty of room for entertaining family and friends. Bespoke kitchen, fittings and fixtures combine with hand made steel joinery and decorative wall and ceiling panels to make this a real show stopper. Working closely with the owner, who is an experienced and sought after interior designer, we made those special finishing touches that make a house like this stand out from the rest. The secret wine cellar door in the scullery leads you down to a fine selection of wall and floor finishes complete with brass light fittings fit for the finest French reds.

Stone tiles, recessed feature lighting, open fire and heated pool complete the outdoor package.

This was a project that required special attention to detail and closely working with the client to achieve the desired results.
