When Ivy was renovating her family’s Victorian cottage in Albert Park, she knew professional styling would bring her stunning new interiors to life. She invited us to help her with the finishing touches, creating a warm and welcoming home they were all excited to move into.

Our brief was to create the ‘wow’ factor – Ivy wanted a whole house full of photo-worthy spaces that were as beautiful as they were practical for sharing with their visiting children and two adorable dogs.

After generating an ideal furnishing layout, we then chose pieces from European and Australian furniture makers who worked with us to customise selected items to suit Ivy’s home. Soft furnishings, artwork, and décor were then added to create the tangible warmth and welcoming atmosphere that radiates through these photos – and even more so in real life!

Some tight spaces required us to get creative with our design to ensure flow and functionality. We had a gorgeous timber dining bench customised to double as extra living room seating for guests, and we had some fun in the kids’ rooms with mix-and-match linens and compact occasional furniture to create personalised retreats that weren’t overcrowded.

The finished product is a luxurious, comfortable retreat that merges history with timeless contemporary design.
