By Josephine Design
Josephine design was contracted by ARC to create a warm and welcoming aesthetic to help calm both the animals and the owners, during what is usually a very stressful time, given ARC is a referral vet for much more complicated procedures.
However, the aesthetic had to cater to a functional use, which required hard wearing, easily cleanable surfaces that could deal with the rigours of animals and the associated medical equipment, procedures and chemicals. The colours and hues chosen are in line with the medical sector and also in combination elevate the space with a sense of warmth and optimism.
The expansion of the ARC Vets brand was exciting as it was ambitious, with a new state-of-the-art animal hospital in Freemans Bay, Auckland. There is no other facility like this in NZ that offers the array of facilities. This amazing site, inclusive of the North Island’s first animal dedicated MRI machine, into a bright yet calming space for animals and owners alike.
