A refined contemporary residence where natural timber elements bring warmth, balance, and architectural cohesion across interior and exterior spaces.
Delivered in collaboration with Ambrose Design and Construct, Mandana House is a contemporary home that seamlessly integrates clean architectural lines with the warmth and texture of natural timber.
Throughout the project, Paradise Timbers’ custom timber joinery plays a defining role in shaping the interior experience. From the living area feature wall and integrated shelving to the kitchen cabinetry and bespoke bathroom vanities, each element has been carefully crafted to introduce consistency, material richness, and refined detailing.
The use of light-toned timber across joinery surfaces creates a cohesive visual language, softening the bold architectural structure while enhancing the natural flow between spaces. In contrast, the darker vertical cladding within the main living area establishes depth and drama, anchoring the double-height void and drawing the eye upward.
Precision detailing is evident in every application—from seamless cabinetry lines to integrated lighting that highlights the grain and texture of the timber. This considered approach ensures that each space feels both functional and elevated, balancing modern minimalism with warmth and livability.
Externally, the architectural form is complemented by strong material contrasts and clean finishes, reinforcing the home’s contemporary identity while maintaining a connection to its interior palette.
This project demonstrates how thoughtfully designed and executed timber solutions can unify a home—delivering both visual impact and everyday functionality across all living environments.
