Creating a modern feel and functionality in a 1920's villa was the brief. Shaker had to be the way to go. It was made difficult by having floors and walls that we out of plumb, out of level and a short time frame. I personally think we nailed it. Aslo, the scullery and barn doors were part of the brief.
