A Harmonious Blend of Old and New
From the moment you step through the front gate, Belmont House makes a statement. The restored façade honors its heritage with fresh paintwork and crisp landscaping, while the charming tiled roof and classic gable detail pay homage to the home’s original structure. Inside, the transformation unfolds with a seamless balance of modernity and warmth, where each room is thoughtfully designed to exude elegance and comfort.
A Kitchen Designed for Modern Living
The heart of the home, the kitchen, is an extraordinary blend of function and beauty. Clad in stunning natural stone, the benchtops, splashback, and integrated rangehood create a cohesive, sculptural aesthetic. The Haven Kitchens cabinetry ensures a sleek, refined look with ample storage, while the Surface Spectrum stone adds depth and organic texture to the space.
Beneath the beauty lies performance, with top-tier Teka and Residentia Group appliances seamlessly integrated into the design. The kitchen is further elevated with the Schweigen UM1170-9BS undermount rangehood, a silent and powerful extraction system designed to keep the space fresh without intrusive noise. Thanks to Schweigen’s innovative German-engineered Silent Isodrive® motor, this rangehood efficiently removes smoke, steam, and odors while maintaining a peaceful environment—perfect for an open-plan kitchen where conversation and relaxation are just as important as cooking.
Accents such as Meir Australia matte black tapware and Lavello Sinks contribute to the sophisticated contrast, reinforcing the modern yet timeless aesthetic. The bold Beacon Lighting pendant above the island further elevates the space, merging form and function in perfect harmony.
Bespoke Bathrooms and Serene Bedrooms
The bathrooms continue the theme of elegance with floor-to-ceiling Surface Spectrum stone, exuding a spa-like luxury. Matte black tapware, a curved fluted vanity, and statement lighting make these spaces as visually impressive as they are practical.
The bedrooms are a sanctuary of calm, staged to perfection by Arch Melbourne and Randco Design Studio. Soft textiles, muted color palettes, and carefully curated décor create inviting retreats, while expansive windows flood the rooms with natural light.
A Designer’s Touch
Beyond aesthetics, Belmont House embodies thoughtful design. Carefully considered elements, such as statement furnishings, natural textures, and modern art pieces, bring warmth and personality to every space. A special mention to Lalehs, the creative force behind Jacobs Food Diaries, whose vision helped bring this incredible project to life.
The Belmont House transformation is a testament to expert craftsmanship, high-quality materials, and inspired design. Every detail has been meticulously curated, making this home a true example of timeless elegance reimagined for modern living.
