A classic ‘do-up’ with many unfortunate changes over its lifetime. This 1930’s elevated bungalow was extensively remodelled for a specific clients taste. A new deck area added to the rear, housing the new outdoor kitchen/family/dining area, echoes the roof form of the original house, reinterpreting it in a contemporary manner to provide elegant, soaring, light-filled spaces, and providing much needed indoor/outdoor flow. Adding new life and space to this elegant family home while remaining sympathetic to it's beautiful bungalow bones. We created an added heritage details and completely re-did the interior spaces.
