A stunning renovation of a 1920s bungalow in Hataitai, revitalizing its classic features while modernizing key areas, including bathrooms, and preserving original ceilings to maintain the home's historical character.
- Year: 2018
- Location: Hataitai
- Work: Alterations, Residential
A major overhaul was completed on this classically beautiful 1920s bungalow.
While it had incredible features, no work had been done on the home for more than 40 years.
While many features were modernized, such as the bathrooms, others were simply uncovered and allowed to shine. In particular, several of the original ceilings were kept - retaining the character of a house that has been a part of the city's fabric for over 100 years.
