The overall design for this backyard from Landart, was to create a sunken entertaining area to achieve privacy and a retreat like feeling. The varying levels of the space and the materials used, provides definition and interest. Cleverly, the pool and spa, positioned along the back boundary, were raised to the level of the house to add further interest, and allow for a visual connection between each distinctive space from the house.
Sareen Stone’s First Choice Classic Travertine Tumbled was used around the pool coping and for the alfresco dining area.
