Dilapidated early 1900's villa brought back to life
We were engaged by the owners to transform this very tired villa. Working alongside Hoxha Bailey Architects, we retained the existing front facade and rebuilt everything behind to its original style.
The villa was reconstructed on new timber piles and brought up to latest building code while still retaining the historic character. All of the materials required to renovate were manufactured to match the existing profiles creating a seamless transtion between old and new.
To compliment the villa, a modern extension was added to create a new living space that incorporated a timber deck with a Louvretec roof. The result is a seamless inside/outside connection to the private north facing deck.
