Lichfield House is located in the heart of wine country, surrounded by local vineyards just two minutes away from Kumeu Valley Estate and The Hunting Lodge Winery. It is ideally located if you are visiting the area or getting married nearby. We were engaged to extend the main house. There were no shortage of challenges as always when dealing with period homes however together with the clients we were able to overcome these and produce an exceptional result. Some key elements were: Reclaimed Rimu Floor joists machined into flooring Colonial finishing trims Large timber joinery units for maximum natural light Outdure composite concealed fix decking Glass roof over entertaining area

“We chose Nathan and Quality Build after reading the great reviews here on No Cowboys, and glad we did! We met Nathan for an initial quote and instantly liked his approach and thinking. This was actually enough for us not to look for other quotes! We then went overseas for 2 months and trusted our house to Nathan and his team to execute the tasks planned. During the project, a lot of areas that also needed doing were uncovered, and after our OKs, Nathan's team did all the tasks we asked for, with zero fuss. We came back to a wonderful house - done fully on time, and within a very reasonable budget (I'm not saying "done on budget" as we didn't set a budget at the start - we trusted Nathan to charge us honestly). Overall, super stocked and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Quality Build to anyone.”
