Creative Studio Space.

I needed a small space to work from home, where I could be creative and productive (Translation: child-free, lego-free, and just enough space to work, store samples, and conduct uninterrupted Zooms.)

My husband and I converted our dingy old shed - that was just being used for storage - into a warm, insulated and leak-free room with bifold doors. Not our 'forever home', we kept it simple with many items recycled and reimagined.

Redline plywood with a waxy-oil finish was a cost effective, and charming solution for the walls. Black rimu wall tongue and groove panelling was found second-hand and features on one wall for contrast. Floorboard 'seconds' cuts were used for shelving, work bench and a low cabinet. Bifold doors give me a great outlook and plenty of light. A hand-crafted lino-cut by @flower.reveries provides great print-making inspiration. I'm so thrilled with my creative studio!
