Calida Projects were engaged by their repeat client the Laundy Hotel Group for the construction & refurbishment of the Crossways Hotel in Strathfield. Working alongside designer Luchetti Krelle, the hotel was revamped with style and charm. This included a new rear courtyard featuring a centralised fire pit. Internally, the new main bar has been transformed as the centrepiece of the design with a beautiful decorative brass gantry overhead with large custom hanging light bulbs syncing with a raw Italian stone for the bar top. The front façade has been encased with new guinea rosewood timber windows, black metal arch doors, hand-made glazed tiles and brass panelling giving the building a sense of admiration as it sits on the corner of a major traffic corridor.
