Studio Prineas were commissioned to transform this Double Bay apartment's dated 90s interior into a home that had all the practicalities for a family of 5 and also delivered a sense of experiential depth, akin to a design-centric hotel.
Working with various colours, textures and form, Studio Prineas were able to meet their client’s brief and exceed their expectations.
From the moment of entry into the apartment there is a sense of high-design and comfort which is exemplified in the dining and living spaces. Here, the beautiful layering of blackened cabinetry, the use of reflective surfaces, peach toned curtains and the owners own colourful artwork collection, create a layered, warm and interesting space.
Havwoods HW16002C Pallido herringbone timber flooring from the Italian Collection features throughout the home. Pallido was selected to add beautiful natural timber textures and a foundation of warm blonde tones in the timeless herringbone pattern, that were perfect to contribute to the overall feel of the space. Being pre-finished, less time was needed for install and the clients had certainty in the finished outcome.
Shortlisted for a number of awards, Studio Prineas achieved a stunning result with Doria Apartment, that delivers to the client an exceptionally comfortable residence that infuses everyday life with opulence, delight, and liveliness.
