Overlooking an inlet in a semi-rural area of the north island of New Zealand, this home takes its design cues from the surrounding land. Earthy, natural tones are chosen in harmony with its location and strong clean lines enhance the dramatic views. Designed by Cube Dentro featuring Hettich products, this is a clean, modern home with strong country intimation.

This kitchen was set within a fresh and modern interior outfit throughout the home. A large barn door is a feature of this open plan living space, and the kitchen needed to have a similar aesthetic impact. The homeowners are keen entertainers, so the kitchen is a thoroughly used space that needs to be hard-wearing and the use of premium materials and products ensures an easy luxury.

In a long space wrapping around the corner of the entertainers deck, the kitchen is an island layout that leverages a tucked away scullery and a statement kitchen island to create an extra large space. Large panel pocket doors hide different working zones which are a highly functional and unexpected surprise.

To maintain the strong, geometric lines, handleless drawers have been used. ArciTech by Hettich has been selected with push to open functionality, which is extended to the cupboards in the scullery. The soft closing Silent system adds to the high end function.

Other cabinetry considerations include an integrated refrigerator to blend with the pocket doors.
