Gipps Street Recreational Precinct banner

Under Construction... NEW 32-hectare landmark Sport and recreation destination coming to Penrith City.

We are working alongside Penrith City Council to transform a former waste facility into the new Gipps Street Recreational Precinct for the Penrith Community. Glascott Landscape and Civil are leading construction in undertaking remediation, construction, landscaping, and installation work required to bring this innovative precinct design to life.

The development will include multiple sports fields, full amenities, inclusive children’s area featuring water play, a dedicated Youth Precinct including a skate park and our city’s very first pump track. There will be outdoor gym equipment, an off-leash dog park, shaded picnic areas with BBQs and beautiful nature walks. The project is scheduled for completion by the end of 2023.

OUR STORY

Small beginnings and big dreams. That’s how our founder Matthew Glascott started The Glascott Group. His vision for the business was a reflection of his love of the land.

Matthew comes from a long line of farmers and graziers. His country-born and bred parents instilled in him a passion for plants, trees, and responsible management of the land.

Matthew’s dad, Joseph Glascott, was the first Environment Writer for Sydney Morning Herald and reported on Australia’s biggest environmental issues in the 1970s & 1980s.

Matthew is passionate about the environment and dedicated to his vision of creating quality open spaces that leave a lasting legacy.
