Crafting a multi-generational holiday escape with sustainable serenity.
The brief was to renovate and convert this space into a family holiday home suitable for three generations to come together under one roof.
Designer Malvina Stone says “The clients were mindful of the environment and that the materials used were not pretentious or “ showy”. The interiors required practicality so that family could ebb and flow from the pool and outdoor areas to the interior with ease and a sense of barefoot comfort .

Dark tones to natural harmony.
"We removed the dark heavy tones from the resort and replaced them with pale oaks, tan leather, natural linen and earth toned velvets . The spaces work around a central stone fireplace made from local stone with seating zones both sides using Cosh Living sofas and occasional chairs."

Crafting versatile spaces for every season and occasion.
"The general concept was to have numerous zones that family and guests could move through as the seasons changed or as light shifted throughout the day. There are zones for dining, reading, breakfast, entertaining and playing . The clients have a full time chef therefore we created an incredible back out house kitchen and also a friendly open kitchen zone where breakfast can be set out for friends and family.”

A Modern retreat designed for timeless family gatherings.
The result is a modern and inviting home that celebrates its surroundings and inhabitants. Malvina & Kym have expertly created a dynamic, communal home that will be treasured for many generations to come.
