This garden serves as a family home, place to work, and a creative space to experiment. Highlights include a formal entrance garden with a small parterre, layered hedges and a jasmine espalier; and a sunny back garden with a dark stained deck, lawn edged in bricks, small holding nursery, and rustic vegetable garden made from old and new railway sleepers. My most successful experiment? Painted trees on the street front, draped in clematis.
